The Menu
Chef Tim Love has been at the forefront of the
Fort Worth dining scene since opening the
award-winning Lonesome Dove Western Bistro in 2000.
In April 2007, he launched his fourth restaurant, The
Love Shack, an outdoor burger joint overlooking Fort
Worth’s historic Stockyards District. The Love
Shack features two levels of outdoor seating with
views of either the Marine Creek of the Trinity
River or bustling
Exchange Avenue as well as a live music stage
featuring some of North Texas' best country & rock
music artists. The
menu features
burgers made from Texas’ finest steers and grilled a
la plancha as well as hot dogs,
sausages and hand-cut fries and
onion rings. The Shack pours their
own special blend of both root beer and lemonade
and offers a wide selection of beer and wine. In
addition, they serve up a daily milkshake which
flavor changes daily. Love has long believed that
the Fort Worth dining scene was missing a key
element: a place for people of all ages who work,
live, and play in the neighborhood to gather over
casual food, great music, and a cold drink. With his
other establishments thriving, Love knew it was
finally time to fill that gap with The Love Shack. The Love Shack shares
outdoor deck space with sister property The White
Elephant Saloon, allowing guests of both to enjoy the
beautiful surroundings and live music performances.
While The Shack offers seating, people are
encouraged to take their food and drinks to go for a
stroll through the nearby stockyards or a picnic
along the river bank. The Love Shack will join Tim
Love’s other Fort Worth establishments, The Lonesome
Dove Western Bistro and The White Elephant
Saloon, as a pioneering restaurant
in the cowboy tradition.
