Room Selection
The Trail Room is our
most intimate of private dining areas. This room is adorned
with a hand painted map of the mythical Lonesome Dove Trail
and original 1920 hardwood floors. The Trail Room is perfect
for a casual gathering or boardroom style dining. (Seats up
to 25)
The Dove Lease
accommodates up to 90 seated guests. There are two large
barn doors that open out to a covered deck that overlooks
the Marine Creek. The Lease adjoins the Main Dining Room but
also has a separate entrance for those special occasion
parties. Western décor adorns The Dove Lease, with paintings
by local artists and a turn of the century round bar. This
perfectly quaint room is sure to enhance your next group
function.
Located underground, La Cava
has a glass wall that runs the length of the room,
showcasing our stellar wine cellar. The elegance of the
extensive wine cellar as well as the soft lighting creates a
fabulous ambience for your dinner party. This room holds up
to 60 persons. |

The Wine List
Opened in 2000, The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro,
located in Fort Worth’s Historic Stockyard District,
has quickly become the city’s premiere dining
establishment.
Chef Tim Love has designed a menu influenced by all
of the ingredients and cultures that have been a
part of the West since the first adventure began on
the Goodnight-Loving and Chisolm Trails—with an
added level of modern sophistication.
Items on the Lonesome Dove Bistro menu range from an
inventive selection of steaks and seafood to dishes
such as grilled Texas quail quesadillas, kangaroo
carpaccio and buffalo ribeye.
The Lonesome Dove Western Bistro has received
numerous awards and acclaim from the likes of Wine
Spectator, Zagat Survey, Southern Living, Esquire,
The New York Times, and The Dallas Morning News.
The 2005 Zagat Survey results recognize Lonesome
Dove Western Bistro as having the best food in Fort
Worth, winning the restaurant a spot in Zagat’s
coveted “America's Top Restaurants.”
A native Texan and Fort Worth’s first chef invited
to cook at the famed James Beard House in New York,
which is dedicated to furthering the practice and
appreciation of the culinary arts, Tim Love is known
for celebrating the food and culture of the American
West while taking it to a new level of elegant
sophistication.
He has garnered numerous awards and critical acclaim
for his signature dishes of wild game and seasonal
fish combined with fresh local ingredients.
As a tireless promoter of culinary education, Love
is known for bringing Spoons Across America, a James
Beard-supported charity for children, to Texas.
In response to his followers’ demand for gourmet
cooking, Love recently put together his first
cookbook “Tim Love on the Lonesome Dove Trail”
